May God add His blessing to the reading & hearing of His word today...

The following two scriptures are my highlights so far today, what are yours?

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind....Love Your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments." Mathew 22:37-38

He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

Make comments on our daily devotions as you feel led to do so. We can all become wiser and add to our learning together. I have His word to back it up....Amen!

Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. Proverbs 9:9

A teachable spirit is a must here... Me included...

I have to agree with you on Matthew. That is the exact verse that stood out to me. The second Commandment was Thou Shall not Make Unto Thee Any Graven Images. In this verse he clearly changes that second Commandment. It seems symbolic of the New Covenant of Love rather than law. These two laws encompass all.

If you want to remember the group that does not believe in resurrection, just remember they are SAD U SEE because they will not experience life after death.

Gen 22-8 I love how Abraham just knew that God would provide the lamb. He knew that God had promised the blessing through Isaac so, he BELIEVED and his actions and words show it. How many times I wonder are we just to that point where our faith is being tested, and we make it through all the stages except the last and hardest, where we would see God provide if we had only walked in obedience? I feel He wants to be sure we love Him more than His blessings.

Amen sister... we must walk in obedience. I love your comment about Him wanting to make sure we love him more than His blessings. We have to keep our eyes on Him. Blessings , signs and wonders are all fabulous benefits of loving Him. It is when eyes are on those more than they are Him that man gets into trouble.

I pray for an abundance of the steadfast faith of Abraham into our lives now. In Christ name. selah

How absolutely grand it is to really know in your heart that your heavenly Father will provide. Note that Abraham had to climb that mountain as God had instructed Him before the provision was given. It makes me think that sometimes when there does not seem to be provision, have we maybe not followed the Lord's instructions?

And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." Genesis 22:14

Have we climbed the mountain that God directed us to? Have we passed the test of faith as You put it?

Lord forgive me for times that I have not followed your instruction...

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."

The desire of my heart for what you will find to be a delightfully divine journey is that Christ the Lord breath His reviving breath upon your spirit, and that you realize not only is He who He says He is, but also that you see and accept that you are who He says you are as well. The two go hand in hand. The deeper things of God will come to a heart that is set on Him and who is dedicated to the following two things: time in His word and time spent in holy conversation (prayer) with Him. I believe His word, so I know that if you are here reading this now, it shall be so for you.
