Solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 6:14
In the book of Hebrews there is a theme: what we call christianity is more than just a religion, it is a relationship with Christ the Lord. There are elementary aspects to beginning a relationship and then there are the mature aspects of growing in a relationship. I believe as we grow in our relationship with Christ we receive the higher things of God. Things that are unsearchable. Solid food. We first have to be well grounded in the elmentary, but we can not remain and continue on living on the milk alone. We can not remain as an infant.
Are you maturing in Christ? Is your relationship with Christ so close that you have trained yourself to see as He sees? Can you distinguish good from evil?
Lord Thank you for eyes that see and ears that hear. Thank you for your love for me and the relationship that we have....I praise you that what you have provided us is more than ritualistic religion...

What a great way to put that. It is just like what we want when we start a relationship with someone. It is being vunerable and real with them. Knowing them on a level where you sometimes do not even have to speak, to know what the other one is thinking. Giving them your time and making them priority. There is a trust that we must build, in order to know the Secret Things of The Lord.
