CPR-Relationship

People do not need to hear someones philosophies or theological ideas and opinions on how one should live, what I have found though is that people are hungry to hear what God is doing in the lives of ordinary people. My responsibility is not to convince anyone of the reality of His divine presence but simply to bear witness to what the Lord has said and done for me...to share my encounters with those who have an ear to hear...I am an ordinary person, however, I love to learn and grow in the Lord...my delight is in the word of the Lord and I meditate in His word day & night. A stay at home mom with a nursing degree, simply an ordinanry person I am through the eyes of the world, but in the eyes of my heavenly Father I am unique and quite extraordinary and so are you....

The following paragragh is an account documented in my journal of an experience I had with the Lord and the reason for this post and many to follow I suspect.

On the evening of March 3rd 2009, I was laying in bed between being awake and asleep. The voice of the Lord startled me out of my slumber with the following words," I want you to teach CPR, I have equipped you." For a very quick fleeting moment my thoughts questioned Him. "Why do you want me to teach CPR, of course I am a nurse and have been attending CPR courses for years, but why CPR?" as I rambled on trying to make sense out of it, it came to a quick halt when I saw and heard,

"Christ Powered Revival: CPR for the spirit."

That was it, I had been given an assignment. The very next day I got to work following His lead by creating my Unexpected Delights website. I must admit that for the past several months, I have often questioned Him, " how can this be? who? where? are sure Lord? who am I? I don't hold any ministerial titles...and with that I would hear Him respond,

"O, but you do. Trust Me dear one you do, just continue to trust and obey Me."

It wasn't until a very few moments ago that he spoke into my heart and made that title known to me.  I have been using it all along in many of my communications, but it was not until this very moment that He enlightened my mind with the relevance and significance of it. To be shared in another post.

"HIS DELIGHTED SERVANT"

We are about to embark on something to marvelous for human words to express. Will you come along on this divine adventure with me? The Lord wants to blow a fresh breath of His spirit into your beautiful spirit. Are you willing? He is at the door waiting to be invited in. (Revelation 3:20).

Please know in your heart of hearts that His intended purpose for us is an intimate relationship with Him, not religious acts or doctrinal do's and do not's. When you are deep into an intimate relationship with someone, does not their wants and desires become yours as well? When you do something that pleases your beloved, does it bring you delight? The same is so with the Lord God, His very will becomes our desire quite naturally without  religious hoopla...

Madam Guyan made a profound statement in which she said, "there is a difference between praying and experiencing God" , to add to that, I don't recall who said it or where I may have read it, but it is a truth I have realized on my own and the truth is, that there is also a remarkably huge difference between "knowing of God" and "knowing God" My sincerest prayer for anyone who may be reading this is that you Dear one may go beyond "praying to God" to "experiencing God" and beyond "knowing of God" to "knowing God"

May the wind of his breath blow revival into your spirit now....and draw you into the relationship you were intended for...open the door dear one invite Him in...

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."

The desire of my heart for what you will find to be a delightfully divine journey is that Christ the Lord breath His reviving breath upon your spirit, and that you realize not only is He who He says He is, but also that you see and accept that you are who He says you are as well. The two go hand in hand. The deeper things of God will come to a heart that is set on Him and who is dedicated to the following two things: time in His word and time spent in holy conversation (prayer) with Him. I believe His word, so I know that if you are here reading this now, it shall be so for you.

About Me

My photo
My faith is what moves me , it is enjoyable, irresistable, lovely and warm with a sense of mystery. Its like a summer day with a gentle breeze blowing my hair, like a butterfly emerging from a cacoon, like a flower pushing its way through the soil of the earth, like a hidden treasure waiting to be found, yes it is my faith that defines me and I am completely content regardless of what goes on around me...My life with Yeshua is like a well written novel that I can not and will not put down... My greatest desire is to be used by Him to touch hearts without religiousity, denominationalism or legalism. One heart at a time. God Bless All from Shelli
