Morning :Mathew chapters 23 & 24 and Proverbs chapter 12
Evening: Genesis chapters 23 & 24 and Psalms chapter 12
Bless you for going on this adventure with me.
I do hope you have the items listed above for the journey. I do urge you to keep your journal filled with reflective thoughts, prayers, scriptures that stand out, etc. I believe you will be absolutely amazed at what you have compiled in a short amount of time.
Wow! So much to chew on today, I love the verses from Mathew below because I strive to be that servant.
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth he will put him in charge of all of his possessions." Mathew 24:46-48

In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality. Proverbs 12:28
I recently was listening to a CD of Marie Chapians called The Six Purposes of God. In this CD she defines righteousness as conforming to the revealed will of God in every aspect of ones life. She also mentions that saints will judge the earth. The moment she began talking about saints, I questioned God, "Who is a saint?" I was distracted by my 7 year old jumping around so I shut off the CD, got up walked over to the pantry and pulled out an old box of tea. I took one of the bags out to dunk in my hot water, opened it up and there on the tab was writing, I reached for my glasses and read the following,
"A compassionate human being on the path of righteousness is a saint."
I giggled and stood there in awe as I conveyed what had just transpired to my husband. His comment, "Wow, nothing like asking, then receiving an answer right away."

Ge 24:45 “Before I finished praying in my heart..
I love that. That moment when you are praying in your heart and God answers you almost to the tee of what you asked.
I did my evening readings after I posted last night and this same verse(Ge 24:45) made me think exactly of what I had just posted regarding my questioning the Lord about saints.
Our readings for yesterday, the 12th included Mathew chapter 24 in which the Lord talks about the last days:
...There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pangs. Mat 24:7-8
My prayers this morning are for the millions of Haitians who I just learned were hit yesterday with a devastating earthquake. My heart aches for you...
